Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Control or Command Z undoes.
About this board
A 21 sits in the middle as a 3x7 block, fixed from the start, and the board is surveyed outward from it. A 12 fills the strip to its right, an 8 runs down the left edge and two long strips of 8 and 7 cover the bottom. The last piece is the shape-only wide clue on the top row, which has twenty-nine options at first and settles in the second round as a six-cell strip.
