About this board

One clue dominates: a shape-only tall clue near the middle with 121 possible patches at the start, the most of any board in the catalog. It ends up as a 4x5 block of 20, settled by elimination once every other option would strand a neighbour. Five corner and edge pieces are fixed from the start, and a wide band of 12 above the big block waits until the second round.
