First Thread, a 5x5 Patches puzzle
Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Control or Command Z undoes.
About this board
Two long columns on the left, the full-height 5 and the tall 4 beside it, are fixed from the start. The right side is a stack of horizontal strips: a wide shape-only clue on top, a 3, a 3x2 six, and another wide clue along the bottom. The bottom-right corner is the giveaway, because only that last wide clue can reach it.
