How to play

Fill the grid with rectangles. Each rectangle contains one clue.

Drag to draw a patch. Tap a patch to remove it.

  • Wide
  • Tall
  • Any rectangle

A number gives the area. Without a number, work out the size from the surrounding patches.

Keyboard shortcuts

Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Ctrl/⌘ Z undoes.

About this board

The two tall 4s on the left are fixed straight away, and that is where the chain starts. The top-left corner can then only belong to the 2, the bottom of column three only to the 3, and the bottom of column four only to the 6. With those placed, the wide clue in the top-right corner stretches into a 3x2 block over what is left. Expect one more round of checking than the earlier boards.
