Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Control or Command Z undoes.
About this board
Three of the clues are wide and give no size, all hugging the left and bottom edges, so their lengths have to come from the space around them. The square 4 in the top-right corner and the 4 on the left edge are your footholds. Each settled patch tells the next wide clue how far it can reach, ending with one that spans the entire bottom row.
