How to play

Fill the grid with rectangles. Each rectangle contains one clue.

Drag to draw a patch. Tap a patch to remove it.

  • Tall
  • Any rectangle

A number gives the area. Without a number, work out the size from the surrounding patches.

Keyboard shortcuts

Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Ctrl/⌘ Z undoes.

About this board

The 5 in the bottom-left corner is the only patch you can place with certainty at the start, and it runs up the whole left edge. The tall shape-only clue in the top-right corner is settled by elimination: any longer patch there would leave a neighbour with nowhere to go. The square 4 and the 6 settle in the middle, and a wide clue finishes the bottom row.
