Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Control or Command Z undoes.
About this board
Repeated shapes give this board its name: two columns of 4 stand side by side at the top, and three 3s line up below them like reflections. Telling those 3s apart is the hard part, since each could slide up or down until the others are placed, and two of them settle only because the alternatives would strand a neighbour. A shape-only wide clue near the bottom-right becomes a 7x2 floor under everything.
