How to play

Fill the grid with rectangles. Each rectangle contains one clue.

Drag to draw a patch. Tap a patch to remove it.

A number gives the area. Without a number, work out the size from the surrounding patches.

Keyboard shortcuts

Arrow keys move. Enter starts a rectangle; arrows resize it; Enter places it. Escape cancels. Delete removes a patch. Ctrl/⌘ Z undoes.

About this board

Seven of the eleven clues show only a shape, and no patch is certain at the start. The key is a wide shape-only clue on the right side of the board that is actually a 5x3 block through the middle. Around it the cuts are long and straight: a 6 down the left edge, a 7 across row six and two wide strips along the bottom, with a tall clue on the right edge settling last.
